Peace with Ease
Happy March! It is safe to say that we're marching our way through this year pretty fast!! I still cannot (I don't think I ever can) get tired of the beauty of South Africa. Seeing God through the eyes of a different culture and hearing Him in a different language has been quite astounding. I would not want to have started 2017 any other way.
My decision to come to this marvelous country was to take the next step in my faith and to have a season of intentional stillness/peace. Peace with Ease will allow you to escape and want to experience the most sweetest and flawless peace one can ever desire.
Sin absolutely loves to take away our happiness in both the vertical and horizontal ways of life. It completely cuts all ties off from communities of love, support, and worship. Sin will always be with us, whether we like it or not. But want to know something so promising? Sin builds us to be better fighters of love and grace; it tests our obedience to the Lord that we may come to a moment of full dependence on the gracious Peaceful God.
Peace is admirable but only when we gain the strength to say, "I am a sinful person and I sin daily. I know my sins for it is with me always. But today I choose to ask the Lord to cast away these sins and grant me eternal peace. I cannot do it on my own." It is not easy to admit that we cannot do everything on our own but reality stinks sometimes! Trust me, once you do this you will know who True Hope and Peace is: Jesus. I love thou with all my soul...
"This is the good news of the gospel. Peace came. Peace lived. Peace died. Peace rose again. Peace reigns on your behalf. Peace indwells you with the spirit. Peace graces you with everything you need. Peace convicts, forgives, delivers you. Peace will finish His work in you. Peace will welcome you into glory, where Peace will live with you in peace and righteousness forever. Peace isn't a faded dream. No, Peace is real. Peace is a person, and his name is Jesus." - Paul David Tripp

He is gracious and I am grateful. Happy Day!
